How is the iPhone 13 different from the iPhone 12?
First things first, let’s compare the iPhone 13 to the previous generation. Everyone with an iPhone 12 is probably wondering if the upgrade is worth it.
Battery
The battery on the iPhone 13 is larger than the battery on the iPhone 12 and that’s generally going to offer a better battery life. Let’s compare the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 12 Pro Max below:

Size
Sizes are very similar on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. The height and width are exactly the same but it's the depth that's different. The iPhone 13 is a touch deeper and it also weighs more.

The iPhone 13 also has a brighter display than its predecessor and the dual cameras (wide and ultrawide) feature larger sensors for better image quality in low light scenarios.
Another difference to note is the processor. The iPhone 13 models feature an A15 bionic chip (rather than the A14 on the iPhone12) for improved speed, efficiency and performance.
Does an iPhone 12 phone case fit the iPhone 13?
It almost fits — but not quite. The body of the iPhone13 doesn’t appear that different from the iPhone 12. Since the dimensions are almost identical, you would figure that an iPhone 12 cover would work with an iPhone 13 … but that’s not the case.
In addition to the 13 models having more depth, the new camera design and the location of the buttons on the side of the phone can cause some incompatibility.
In short — no, an iPhone 12 case won't fit on your iPhone 13.
Does the (120Hz) refresh rate on the Pro models make a difference?
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max feature ProMotion. ProMotion is a feature that updates a display 120 times per second (rather than the standard 60 times per second). The 120Hz refresh rate basically provides you with a smoother scrolling experience and improved responsiveness.
How does the iPhone 13 charge?
The iPhone 13 features a lightning charging port. That means you can charge by plugging the into the wall. Just note that although the cable is included with your iPhone 13, the powder adapter for the wall is not. You can also charge using any Qi-wireless charger or opt for the (Apple suggested and faster) MagSafe charger.
