iPhone XS FAQs
The iPhone XS is a great option for a powerful phone that’s still relatively cheap compared to the latest models. The XS received an A12 chip (like the iPhone XR and iPhone XS Max) so it shows improved processing and power efficiency over the iPhone X.
The XS features FaceID and an improved camera compared to it's predecessors; a dual 12 megapixel wide-angle and telephoto camera. The TrueDepth front-facing camera is also 7 megapixels for great clarity with FaceTime and selfies 😎

Yes, the iPhone XS supports Qi wireless charging. Big time.
Whether or not a phone will charge through a case depends. For the most part the answer is yes. Most companies that design professional cases now take wireless charging into account. The thinner a cover is, the more likely it is to receive charge through the case. The thicker and more decorated the case is, the less likely that it will receive charge.
You’ll also want to take into account the quality of the phone charger that you purchased. If it’s a cheap $4.00 charger that you grabbed online, it likely won’t be as effective or as powerful as some of the other premium brands that are available.

Whether or not the iPhone XS is worth it, really depends on what you want to use your phone for. If you want to upgrade from an older model and experience some of the more contemporary iPhone features but not break the bank, the iPhone XS could be perfect for that. This makes an absolutely awesome entry level iPhone, especially if you’re looking for a smartphone for one of the kids that’s a bit older.
If you’re willing to pay just a bit more for a phone that’s more powerful with a broad range of color options, you could also look at the iPhone 11. If price is your top priority some of the older models could still do the trick for you.
